Crashplan - Upgrade the Server Software

1)     Open the management console

a.     From any computer go to the Crashplan admin console

b.     Log in using an admin account

2)     Turn off Client Auto Update

a.     Go to Settings à Server à Auto-upgrade devices and uncheck it

3)     Dump the Database

a.     Click the gear button in the top right

b.     Click Dump Database

c.      Wait a bit for it to finish

4)     Download the update

a.     Go to https://support.code42.com/Administrator/Upgrading

b.     Find the latest update and download it to your computer

5)     Upgrade the server

a.     Click the gear button in the top right

b.     Click Upgrade

c.      Click on the button “Click or Drag and Drop File”

d.     Navigate to the upgrade zip file you downloaded and open it.

e.     Click Agree

f.      Server is rebooting, wait 10-15 minutes and click Reconnect
