Sign into SharePoint as a different user

SharePoint 2013/2016 took away the ability to sign in as a different user. Even opening an InPrivate window doesn't get around single sign-on signing you in as your logged in user.
Use this method to sign in as a different user

Take your URL, and append this onto the end of it:

/_layouts/closeConnection.aspx?loginasanotheruser=true

So for example, your URL would look like this:
https://sharepoint.contoso.com/_layouts/closeConnection.aspx?loginasanotheruser=true
