CrashPlan – Changing excluded files

This document details how to change the files that are excluded from backup in CrashPlan

1)    Open the CrashPlan control panel and log into it

2)    Click on Organizations

3)    Click on the name of the top level organization

4)    Click on the Gear Menu

5)    Click on Device Defaults

6)    In the Device Defaults pop up window, if you are not already on the General tab, click on that

7)    Scroll down to near the bottom to the section labeled “Global Exclusions”

8)    Type in the file extension that you would like to exclude

9)    Click the “+” button to add it to the list
10)  Click the ((•)) button to send this change to all machines

11)  Click Save
